Our Himalayan Salt & Clove Eye Masks/Pillows can be used on any part of the body, but they are meant to be especially useful for tired eyes, and to help relieve headache pain. The weight of the product puts gentle pressure on your pulse points, and when combined with Himalayan salt and cloves, you should have no problem easing into relaxation.

Halotherapy or Salt Therapy is widely available in many spas. This eye pillow can be used for naps, when you need to open your nasal passages, during a cold, as aromatherapy, or to help you get invigorated during your yoga practice.

HOW IT'S MADE

All of our compress pillows are handmade and hand dyed with non-toxic dye. Interior is filled with quality Himalayan salt, cloves (cloves are used in Ayurveda to help relieve painful headaches) and rice. We source our ingredients from the same places as chefs - this ensures freshness and getting the best of the best from harvests all over the world.

HOW TO USE A HOT/COLD COMPRESS

TO HEAT - Heat in your microwave for anywhere between 300 seconds to 60 seconds (depending on the strength of your microwave). Avoid overheating and wait at least 20 minutes before you heat it again. While you can put a warm compress on the eyes, make sure it is not too hot. Our eyes have delicate skin. Never use a hot compress on wounds or areas with skin conditions.

TO FREEZE - Place in a ziplock bag to prevent loss of the aromatherapeutic effect. Let it sit in your freezer for at least 3 hours or until you need it.

AS IS - You do not have to heat or freeze our pillows in order to experience it as aromatherapy. Simply us it on your eyes as is, place it under your pillow, on your night table or use when easing into Savasana.

Spot clean. To keep your pillow clean, you can wrap it in facial tissue before placing it on your face.

While hot and cold compresses are safe for children, be mindful that herbs can be very potent. Use caution if you are pregnant, around babies and pets. Always consult a doctor before you use any type of product with herbs. Be advised that we are not making any medical claims and hot and cold therapy might not work for everyone.

The Soak Club Collection presents an Herbal Care selection of eye masks and compress pillows. Our in-house collection is an ever-changing line of spa beauty and therapy products. We believe in the power of nature and strive to reflect that in our selection.

Whether you chose to heat or freeze the mask, the combination of Himalayan salt and cloves is sure to help you breathe better. While halotherapy is used by many, this type of treatment is not scientifically proven and might be harmful to someone with asthma. Always consult your board-certified doctor when using any kind of herbal ingredients.
